Mary Woodward posted a Facebook page against the governor’s tax shift onto seniors in February and the movement grew into a rally on the Capitol steps. The rally was organized by the Michigan chapter of the American Association of Retired Persons to protest Michigan Governor Rick Snyder’s proposed tax shift that would raise taxes on seniors and the poor to pay for corporate tax cuts
